Information collected on this site
This is an educational website. It does not ask you to create an account, and it does not collect clinical information about you. If you contact the hospital by telephone, email or in person, what you provide is handled as part of your medical record under the hospital’s own privacy rules, and it is used to answer your enquiry and to arrange any assessment you ask for. Reading a page here does not create a patient relationship of any kind, and nothing you read is recorded against your name.
Cookies and measurement
The site uses only what is needed to serve the pages to your browser. It does not use advertising cookies, it does not sell audience data, and it does not build a profile of your health interests or of the treatments you have read about. If measurement tools are used at all, they record how many people opened a page rather than who those people were. Questions about what is recorded on this site can be raised through the hospital administration contact.
Photographs and clinical records
Clinical photographs taken during an assessment form part of your medical record and are stored under the hospital’s record rules. They are not published on this site, and a before-and-after gallery is not something this site uses to persuade anyone. Any use of your photographs for teaching, publication or a professional meeting requires your separate written consent, which you may decline without affecting your care, and which you may withdraw afterwards.
Questions
Questions about privacy, about what is held in your record, or about how to ask for a copy of it, can be raised through the hospital administration number on the contact page. Requests that concern a medical record are handled under the hospital’s own rules rather than through this website, because this website holds no record of you. If you are writing from outside China, say so, and the international patient contact can direct the request.
